10/40 Window Country Profiles
Criteria for inclusion in this list is that the country is in or around the 10/40 Window and a majority non-Christian (not adhering to any form of Christianity--whether Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox). There are 70 countries in this category. With the exception of Judaism in Israel, each of these countries has a majority non-Christian population that is either Muslim(54), Hindu(2), or Buddhist(13). Almost all government sponsored persecution of Christians occur in these countries. In over half of these countries missionary work is illegal or highly restricted.
